Squaeker is a 12-yr old Domestic Short hair cat who received Spryng™ with OsteoCushion™ Technology injections!
CONDITION
Squeaks was having considerable difficulty jumping to her resting and feeding places. She had to reach the counter in a stepwise fashion and was in general less active. She was also getting less amenable to petting and brushing. On her orthopedic exam she was found to have considerable pain on right hip extension.
TREATMENT
Squeaker was placed under heavy sedation and both her right hip and stifle were surgically prepared in a routine fashion. A 22 g 1 ½” needle was used to inject the coxofemoral joint. Roughly 1 ml. of Spryng™ with OsteoCushion™ Technology was injected into her hip and ~ ½ ml. into her right stifle. She recovered uneventfully and was taken home within a few hours.
RESULTS
Squeaker has regained her mobility and has even been able to resume her job as an active barn cat. She is jumping, climbing and getting around much better than she had been.
